Metrics & Evaluation

“What gets measured gets managed.”
— Peter Drucker

Measuring Success

True growth isn’t just about numbers, it’s about awareness. By measuring my progress, I stay accountable to the goals that matter most: continuing my education, helping others through my career, and finding balance between achievement, accolades, and purpose. Metrics give me a clear visualization of how I’m doing. Every milestone I track academic, professional, or personal—is a reminder that progress is built on intention and the act of showing up each day, even when things get hard. It’s not just about outcomes; so much of life is about the journey. These are the numbers that reflect that journey.

Looking Into the Future

I’ve learned that growth isn’t always linear—sometimes the lessons that make us who we are don’t fit neatly into charts or percentages. Still, taking time to measure progress keeps me focused and grounded. It helps me see how far I’ve come and what still needs work. Each season of life contributes to the bigger picture of who I’m becoming. Just like in marketing, consistent check-ins ensure my actions stay aligned with my mission, values, and purpose.
